Mental healthcare provider Onebright has acquired the digital platform Mindstep for an undisclosed sum.
Onebright says this creates the UK’s first digitally-led end-to-end workplace mental healthcare and neurodevelopmental service.
Onebright specialises in offering psychological therapy, psychiatry and neurodevelopmental assessment services, with Mindstep offering digital screening, triage and adaptive self-care technology.
The deal comes as workplace health providers increasingly seek to integrate digital wellbeing tools with insured and clinical services, amid growing employer demand for earlier intervention, improved employee engagement and better navigation of mental health support.
Onebright says this acquisition enables it to offer employers a service that incorporates digital self-help, clinically validated assessments and specialist treatment where required all through a single provider.
It adds this ensures employers have an ‘always-on’ digital front door for mental health support, with personalised assessments designed to identify employees requiring either self-guided support or referral into Onebright’s clinical services.
